There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
WELCOME TO 2026
CAPA-Cricket Term 2
Students at Lansvale East Public School are now taking part in an exciting Cricket program for Term 2, which has just started as part of our weekly CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) rotation.
All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are joining in, learning new skills and enjoying a mix of physical and creative activities. These lessons are part of the Physical Education, Health and Personal Development curriculum and help students work together, stay active, and have fun while building teamwork and confidence. Take a look at K-1N as they get involved and show their enthusiasm in this fantastic program!
Royal Life Saving Water Program
Tuesday 12th of May, our students took part in the Royal Life Saving NSW Water Safety program. Students engaged in practical lessons about safety in and around water, learning important skills that help keep everyone safe.
We’ve captured some wonderful moments from the sessions – please take a look at the year 5 and 6's actively participating in performing CPR.
Aboriginal Incursion
Tuesday, 5 May 2026. Students from K - 6 participated in a range of engaging activities, including sweeping ceremony, ochre paint-up, cross hatching, X-ray and rock art, dot painting, and cultural storytelling.
This incursion supported our curriculum focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, helping our students develop respect and understanding of the world’s oldest continuing culture.
Week 7 - PSSA Soccer
Congratulations to all of our talented soccer players for representing Lansvale East so positively in our Week 7 home game against Chester Hill North Public School. Unfortunately our Juniors fell short against the strong side but our Seniors redeemed the win bringing it home with a 4-3 point lead.
Overall, it was a great afternoon of sport and a wonderful display of teamwork and school spirit by all students involved, we look forward to more weeks ahead of more talent and fellowship displayed by our Lansvale East Public School students during our PSSA.
Please note that next week’s game will be an away fixture.
NAPLAN
11th March - 23rd March
Welcome to NAPLAN ! Each year we support our students in Year 3 & 5 through the assessments which measure skills in writing, reading, language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation), and numeracy.
This is one of many components of our school’s assessment program, and students are best prepared through their ongoing classroom learning.
PSSA - Soccer and Touch Football
On the 20th of February, Lansvale East proudly represented our school at the PSSA competition against Warwick Farm Public School. The senior soccer team had an outstanding performance, working together brilliantly and securing a well-deserved win. The junior soccer team showed great effort and determination throughout their match but unfortunately went down in a tough game. The mixed touch football team also tried their best and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, but they were unable to come away with a win on the day. Overall, it was a fantastic display of teamwork and school spirit by all teams involved.
